Chopin is a great composer. It's interesting that he dedicated this to Robert Schumann when Schumann named a piece of his suite Carnaval after Chopin.

This is amazing. I love the part where it suddenly goes loud, it's just a nice surrise, especially when people are trying to go to sleep on the nice soft part...then BANG

Very nice playing of that piece. It is always cool to follow the music just to see how really impossible these pieces of music really are!

@leedaasianboy not much really. There were some complaints about mistakes in the other recording (and that it made it less enjoyable), while this version is a bit more held-back in the Presto section, and has a lot fewer mistakes. So for those who can't stand mistakes this might be easier to focus on the general idea of Cortot's interpretation. idk I just figured I'd have both recordings up here since I am a big admirer of Cortot in any case
