Doing this video has given me a new-found respect for those that make tutorial videos because of all that could go wrong while recording!

  • @oigres33 thanks I appreciate that and there's much more to come!

  • @livingvessel11 thanks for watching. Some of the comments below might also be useful.

  • 1:09

  • chord names - some of them you've named wrong.

    It would be better if you'll just put here all chords in text like Dm7 | Dm7 | Gm7 | Am7 | Dm7 ...

  • @bobritsky Dm7| Gm7| Am7| is the basic progression throughout the song. At certain points the Dm7 is either followed or substituted by a Dm/C chord in the 10th fret where you hammer on an E. on the 1st string 12th fret. Dm/C is the same as a Fma7 in the second inversion since the C (the 5) is in the bass.

  • @bobritsky Following the Gm7 in the 10th fret is a Gm/F chord in the 15th fret with an A on the 1st string 17th fret

    There's also G dim| Bb dim| Db dim

    Dm7|Fmaj7 |Dm/C |Gm7|Gm/F |Am7 |Em7

I'll start adding notes to the video soon and thanx for watching

  • Perfect video man!! keep on doing this r&b stuff and youll get my views for sure. Greetings from Spain!

  • nice video man! It took me a while to figure what jairus was doing, are you in a band?

  • can pick up all of what ur doing but,the time laps between making the chords is a bit long.In sort, somewhat forgetting th e changes made 3 chords earlier. If you would go through the changes in slow but demonstrative fashion calling out the chords as you through a couple of times it would be on point. You're a good instructor, try not to drag out what you want to pass on to other players.Thxs for the video awesome runs and changes in it.keep'em coming!

  • aye man... appreci8 the tutorial!!

  • Great job Bro!
