@amyjefferies It stands for "Tourer". It's basically a really fat kayak, usually made of fiberglass or plastic. Used for whitewater kayaking or rough waters that require a stable boat.

@plutonearth18 what on earth is a T1 / T2? I'm fully aware of what the C stands for in a C1/C2/C4 (canoe) and similarly with K-boats being kayaks, but a T?!

there are different kinds of boat for canoeing. this' a K1. its extremely slim. There's T1 also. T2 and K2 fits 2 people and K4 can fit 4 ppl. There's C1 and C2 also. C1 paddles only on one side by 1 person while C2 has two people paddling, one side each

Canoeing dosen't have 2 ends like that and a Canoe can fit more than 1 person.
