No such thing as a mini dobie... it's min pin, there not even related. they just look similar. I have a min pin and would love to have a doberman too!!

No. The miniature Pinscher is bred from the German Pinscher. Doberman's are bred from a ton of different breeds, including the German Pinscher. The min-pin came before the Doberman as a miniaturized German Pinscher.

The only reason a Doberman is called a Doberman is because the guy who bred them was a German tax collector in the mid 1800's who wanted to keep the "menacing look" of the min pin, only 15 times bigger to scare off any undesirables in the bad areas of town. Awesome video BTW.

@SonicsTheMan My recent comment was posted a year ago. You couldn't have just let it go and move on? I know I was wrong with the fact that they're both different breeds, never said I was an expert though :) I was just mislead by my friend into thinking that it was a Miniature Doberman Pinscher. Sorry to all the people who found my latest comments over a year ago so offensive, didn't mean to offend anyone. Did I mention my last comment was over a year ago?

when i first got my dobie, i swear i thought he was a min pin. i don't think the person who was selling the pups was feeding them very well, they were very small & skinny compared to a lot of dobie pups i've seen on youtube but he's gettin big & heavy now

the bigger dog in this picture is a min pin but mine doesnt look like that.. its ears are not down.. and it isnt a doberman because it can never grow bigger than it is now.. hence the name mini doberman pinscher... there are such things.. i keep telling you people..... there are 4 dogs with the same fur markings as each other....rottweiler...doberman...min pin..and mini doberman .. jeez =/

Actually, the bigger dog with the floppy ears and bigger paws is a pure bred doberman pinscher. The other more wild one is a mini-pinscher for all those that are confused I just want to clear that up for you.

She's doing awesome right now. We've been so busy but we'll be putting more videos of her soon. You're going to enjoy your puppy. Have you decided on a male or female yet??
