@yousunkmybattleshipp House of Leaves is just about the strangest thing that I've ever encountered. It will kick your ass, apologize by making you laugh and taking you out for ice cream, but then it will kill your dog...that is the best way I could describe how I felt after taking 5 months to read it (I had to take multiple month long breaks because it freaked me out that much).
