http://www.overpopulation.org It seems some users are quite eager to pull a straw man and misconstrue my message in the video.
Here are some clarifications:

-I never said this should be CONTROLLED/ILLEGAL.

-Decisions like these are, imo, moral decisions. This is MY take.

-I am NOT telling you how to live your life or that you can't have 18 kids. Simply that I personally think it's wrong, and why I think so.

-i have every right to have that opinion just as you do yours., and i can write/talk/blog/etc about it, too.

-overpopulation is not an opinion, it's scientifically acclaimed, and denying it won't make it go away

-yes, i do think it's selfish if you have excess numbers of children because you're not thinking about their welfare and/or seriously considering what is best for the CHILD (instead of YOURSELF).

-selfishness is subjective.

-i define selfishness as thinking/acting primarily about and for oneself instead of others and the earth.

overpopulation is like a J curve graph, bad news. it started off in the 1400's as just pilgams or whatever, and now it keeps going up until we eat ourselves out of the WORLD (which will eventually happen) and then it drops down to nothing. I agree with Laci 100%.

The people who have the most kids... are often the people who don't take children or raising them SERIOUSLY. That's why they think they can have so many and continue to deal with it effectively.

Those who take childbearing seriously are likely to wait longer before having kids, if they do at all, to ensure that they have the resources and time to commit to giving each one the attention, food, shelter, schooling, healthcare, respect, parenting, etc, etc, that they need and deserve.

@YEAHHBOIIII1 Yes, but at first (14 kids, if my memory serves me well), he had foudn some "system" for collecting enoguh money to make ends meet. But think about this: a conservative family with 19 kids all with the same first initials. They have no sense of individuality. I have nothing against conservatives (I am a libertarian), but ruining your kids lives to make money is the same crap you'd see on a randomly picked reality TV show.

if someone decides to live their lives a little differently people FLIP OUT, the liberal population is no better than the conservative when it comes to this. I am NOT religious but I like the Duggars all their children seem wanted and happy. So what? Yes I know they should adopt everyone should but bud out of people's lives and live your own they aren't hurting anyone. Those parents have been married what 30 years and STILL getting it on? Birth control debates aside I want a marriage like that.
