Part 2:

After Remus suvives the lake, he returns to his friends in the order and decides to stay on the straight and narrow and help others for once, he ends up helping victoria and liz bring up michelle and spencer, they eventually find out that he is their uncle, but he has never yet owned up to what he did on that dark evening.
Marcia's other sister karen and her husband derrick also show up and he tries to help them with helping their son mark (derrick and mark are both vampires) and he soon becomes geniunely caring over all of his new friends.
