I came across this last night, and found it to be absolutly amazing. It's a short exerpt from a digitally extended version of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. The complete version is 24 hours in length.
The music is astounding, and ethreal, and beautiful. I just can't really say it any other way besides that. It's not like anything that I've ever heard in my life. But, for once, I think that after hearing the music rendered this way, I understand it more completly.
It may not be what any of you enjoy, but I just ask that you open your minds, take a small breath, and relax.

The complete version can be found at this website:

  • Yes, it is Beethoven. Have you never heard of this? It's digitally lengthened to 24 hours long but done so in a way that the pitch stays the same. What are you are listening to is in fact Beethoven my friend, in all of its glory!

  • Wow! The video is perfect with this.

  • @dynamitewalls : thank you really much for share dear, i am absolutly agree with you.. paradise is on earth :)

  • A total non-Beethoven snore fest.

  • @loveflowers39 i think he actually wanted to discover that since he received his phd

  • What makes Beethoven so unique is that he started going deaf at 42. By the time he wrote his 9th Symphony it was a total product of his mind. He had no hearung feedback. I don't know of another composer that had this experienced.

I supose you could compare him to Hawkings If that if he did not have his handycap he would not have come up with a theory about blackholes.

The handycap brought on the unique experiences.

  • @loveflowers39 it's the original Beethoven 9th streched to 24hrs. There's many stories about it but check out RadioLab "time" it explains a lot!

  • Very nice,thank you! :)

  • lol, I don't get this, seriously. Why would you change Beethoven's 9th symphony, when it's perfect as it is? I don't like this, sorry. If you have to go with the first movement of the symphony, at least do it in "real-time". Or, replace it with the adagio of that actual symphony, OR the 2nd movement from his 5th piano concerto.

And what's that talk about the rapture and end of mankind? lol

    This just doesn't work, sorry.

  • @ddd1600 Who said that?
