This is a good mod BUT there is an easier fix to ape hangers moving and it works very well. You take a strip of sandpaper and cut it to fit around one side of the riser around the bar. Fold it in half so there is sandpaper on either side and put it in between the riser and the bars. Do it on both sides. Tighten the bars up and they wont move even if you try and pull back and forth. They won't budge. It works. Basically stick a folded piece of sandpaper in there and tighten...PRESTO. It works
