there is a woman who comes down to my local club to play sometimes, and she uses this paddle. i don't think you could generate much spin with this paddle...she just plays for fun though, so not a big deal for her.

what about garage players = (

Bad idea .. I don't think it could works .. every hand is of different size and thinks like that ... just for basement players... not for compettition .. (I think) ...I'd like that it was legal because it will be easier to beat oponnents with that kind of blades xD

technically it was designed and developed by the late Bertrand Castelli in 1979. I have the first original paddle he did back in 1977

Slick editing, I'll give you that. The product however isn't much.

this is not going to be useful because you cant use any of your wrist
so basically its a fail

is this already approved by the ITTF?

Don't see how you'll be very effective for over the table close up play. Using this thing to push a heavy backspin serve is going to be hard.
Also don't see how you're going to have a very effective serve with this.
Pretty much restricts the amount of spin you can get from wrist motion.
Would be fun to use to mess around or for basement players..but if you were to "seriously" play using this blade, you'd get destroyed.

Yeah, those damn capitalists and their desire to make money! (/sarcasm)
nice idea and creativity, would work well for basement players but technically, it has less leverage for speed and spend. I know for sure, I'm going to strike my opponent down by letting loose of the mitten paddle and make'm bust a nose or something. Also, this is a two piece paddle which means heavier mitten weight = slower reaction time = you lose. Like I said, excellent idea but this item looks like it came off from someone who hasn't play much TT but is in it to try to make some money.
