Solomon was the son of David and Bathsheba. He came to the throne aided by his mother, Nathan the prophet, and Zadok the priest. Solomon prayed for wisdom and became famous for his wise sayings. He built the first Temple in Jerusalem using forced labor and materials obtained from Hiram of Tyre. Solomon solidified his power by marriage alliances with other kingdoms. These marriages eventually led to the establishment of pagan shrines in Jerusalem.

1 Kgs 3:1-15 - Prays for wisdom.
1 Kgs 8:1-6 - Dedicates the temple
1 Kgs 11:1-13 - Marriages and idolatry

@brenluke1 These old testament stories are wonderful but fictional, in all probability Solomon never existed and if he did he was just a small tribal leader, there was no great city of Jerusalem or magnificent temple, these came much later so the argument of colour is irrelevent. This is my view and I don't intend any disrespect to those who choose to believe the old testament.

Why is Solomon White in this film? The songs of Solomon in the bible Clearly states Solomon is BLACK. We need to stop the lies and deception!

King David never worshipped other Gods.But Solomon worshipped other Gods in his old age because of his foreign wives.He had hundreds of wives
