Chief admits managers should have kept closer eye on 'inadequate' North Yorkshire and Humberside service
Cafcass chief Anthony Douglas has admitted that he and other senior managers should have kept a closer eye on its North Yorkshire and Humberside service, which has been rated as inadequate by Ofsted inspectors.

Douglas said he had "taken for granted" the family court body's service in the area because it had hit key performance indicators and had underspent its budget in previous years.

Then power goes from parents to cafcass. They CRB check you, invading your right to privacy , and even if you robbed a bank 10 years ago and did time it does not affect the right to see your children. * outside court the cafcass lady said she thought kids "shouldnt be able to go to the other parent freely or if they are naughty they can get away from the parent telling them off" she said because my ex and I had split we should "meet in a neutral place".. cont'd

they did CRB checks on me and my partner during a civil application then told me just before I was to stand. They used emotional blackmail to gain my sigature for these CRB checks . Its a loop which works very nicely. Social services ignore you and tell you to go to a civil court. You pay a barrister then if abuse has been mentioned to the social services cafcass step in at the last minute and begin a fact finding hearing. this encourages the split couple to 'rat' on each other ...cont'd
