It should be noted that Thimerosal concentration in MMR vaccine is 25ug, or 0.000025grams. A 25 lb child has approx 20dl of blood, giving a real Thimerosal blood concentration of 0.00000125g/dl. Not only is this substantially below the danger threshold for methyl mercury (10 ug/dl), it is below detectable levels.
Not all vaccines contain Thimerosal, as well. For example no polio vaccine contains Thimerosal, nor do antitoxoid vaccines such as Diptheria.
