I think it snapped pretty easy because for a board with camber you need to put thinner or a lesser amount of wood plys

@jubgun This board snapped because a fat kid jumped on it! :( But another factor was that we cut the wood in the opposite direction it was mechanically cut, it will be stronger if you cut it the long way! (The lines in the wood go up and down on the board, top to bottom.)

Hi bluedog763,

For my PAA project I'm planning on making my own longboard. I wanted to make it a cool design, something new, yknow?

Well I saw your Rocket Ship board at 00:17 and it was pretty much the best thing ever.

I wanted to ask though: Does adding those wings to the edges effect the board at all? Do they ever get in the way? Because I think it's a really cool idea design-wise. I'll be using my longboard a lot and I don't want it to be affected negatively.

@kimmodude123 Hey sounds really cool! But the wings may or may not effect it depending on what type of trucks you use. I used original S8 Trucks and smaller wheels, (kryptonics) and the wheels will only touch the wings if i carve very hard, though it hasn't been a problem. However if you use larger wheels it will wheel bite, which can be bad! If your using more stiff trucks and smaller wheels, it will work fine! Hey if you do build it, post it as a video response!

@Joj0wild Buying it off amazon is the best way, then just peel it, stick it on top, then cut off the edges! Its really easy.
