  • Niiice carburetors :) i have the same ones on my volvo :)

  • Have you ever tried mikuni carburetors. just like the one you got. but much more aggressive sound. especially when you got a hooker exhaust system. by the way where did you find the manifold for those carburetors. im fixin to change my carburetor....

  • Who ever would have thought...!

  • lol i can imagine those fuel jets just going SQUIRT every time you touched the throttle

  • was just thinking watching this minus the fuel bowl this is basically one carby per cylinder kinda like a primitive multi point throttle body injection

  • Very Cool! Never seen a Slant Six with Webers before, gives it a cool vintage Euro look.

  • Love the car mostly the engine though beautiful.

  • I have a slant 225 in a 63 Valiant. This inspires me. Love the sound. Is it difficult to synch all those carbs? I had dual carbs on a motorcycle once and it was always a pain to keep them synched to each other.

  • @arkansastrash320 - no, Aussie Valiants generally had single or dual throat downdraught carbs from the factory, predominantly by Carter. It wasn't until the VH model in 1971 that Valiants, more often Chargers, received factory-fitted 45DCOE Weber six-packs.

  • That is absolutely gorgeous. I had a AP6 wagon years ago, slant six with a 350 Holley on a twin barrel manifold from a later model. It went like a Swiss watch, never missed a beat, even when I drove it without any oil for a year. When I finally filled it and started the engine, it actually sighed. I learnt my lesson and never did that again. Beautiful cars that earned the respect they're due!
