Wandsworth Common 8/4/09 incl 442s and 350s

After being kicked off finsbury Park we made are way (Rather badly) to "somewhere south of Clapham to see 442s". We zig-zagged around Tulse Hill and Streatham and finally ended up at Wandsworth Common. Between Clapham Junction and Balham. Mostly 377s, 455s and 456s with the odd 460 and 350 and then after 2 hours of waiting (grr!) a couple of 442s! 8/4/09

At finsbury park, some guy in a vis vest took me from the end of the station and took me down to the station buildings. I was one my own, and my dad was down the road getting a drink for him and me on the station road. Apparently 'Security Level 2' was in force and I was not allowec to take video but allowed to take pictures!

Oh and their excuse was that there had been some suicides recently and we taking precauctions! What a load of bullshite, they could have just asked what I was doing. Jobsworth eh.

Well its all crap I don't think a terrorist would be filming trains and if they were they would be on a vacation not of any harm even though they may have a back up bomb in there bag if some railway staff do take them away.

I would still write a letter or email because you were not doing anything wrong and I bet it was quite scary for you. if you want send an email to my mate at the railway magazine..he will look into it for you.
