Quik demo on my new Tenori-On. User samples for the beats. Sunds is coming through tenori-on speakers. Got this device yesterday morning so this is my first go at jamming with it. Ill be performing with it in 7 days so ill get a proper live live video then. Hopefully this and more to come will dispell the 'plinky plonk ambient nintendo wii music machine' tag that this machine is getting.

  • this thing is coool. does it have some sort of audio jack so i can plug it into an amp? or do you have to run on the built in speakers?

  • its got mini jack out, so you can with a converter lead plug it into a mixing desk/amp/headphones whatever you like!!

  • Very Nice. I wonder how you loaded your own sounds. I have a TNR too and I have trouble using the software on my mac. It seems to work better on windows (At least I can save the file but the TNR fails to load it... it is hanging on loading file...).

I love your style that changes from the 'plinky plonk ambient nintendo wii music machine as you said.

Please post more videos of you performing with TNR.

  • u have any joy with your user sounds ?? i sent a bank t your email.

  • Cool demo. This _sounds_ really exciting, I haven't seen a demo yet, which would produce really good music, it was always about the visuals and interaction, but this one combines both. Well done!

  • thanky you - a better one is coming ;-) watch this space

  • Hi!

I finally manage to put user sounds on my tenori on. It was just a problem of card reader (usb not tnr) that was faulty. It takes very long to load but it stays in memory, great.

I never received your sounds on my email. Thanks anyway.

Now I'm using it in MIDI, each layer has a different midi channel and you can sync clock (save or master). It even send the instrument changes.

    Thanks

  • Not sure if i quite get it (yet), but it looks pretty damn innovative
