Milk and Honey is the heart-warming story of a Jamaican woman's effort to work and keep her child in Toronto despite unsympathetic immigration officials. She encounters a school principal who wants to help and employers who exploit her but she prevails in the end.

  • You're most welcome. Just had to do this. Next to Sugar Cane Alley, by Martinique female director Euzhan Palcy, this is one of my personal favourites.

  • I've never seen this film, but the most painful part is how realistic this is. So many people had the experience of coming to work for one sum and then getting far less.

  • Lol, they are both smoking by the non smoking sign. I like this movie esp. in the beginning on her way to the airport, omg, lol-lots of laffin.
