This is actually inspired by Martin Leung's performance of this piece. It looked so fun to play that I decided that I wanted this to be my New Year's Day video, and my first video for 2012.

On a serious note, another earthquake hit Japan. Best wishes to the citizens that was struck, hopefully there's not too much damage. Too soon, mother nature. Way too soon.
