Julea Ward is a graduate student at Eastern Michigan University's (EMU) School of Counseling. Her religious beliefs and EMUs contrary views came to a head when she enrolled for the Counseling Practicum course in January 2009.

@garybsg In refusing counseling to a couple that asked for it, she is insulting not only that couple but ALL gay couples, and contributing to homophobia which is causing MASSIVE damage including killing thousands of people.

It's not "Nazi" to refuse to allow bigotry to harm others. Quite the opposite. You are NOT for freedom, but opposed to it. Freedom means ALL people, not just "I have freedom to harm others with hate and lies, they do not have freedom to refute my lies."

@garybsg It isn't opinion, it's truth. She's free to hold her despicable beliefs, she is NOT free to violate professional standards in order to express them, or cause harm to others with her "views." If she wants to be a student, one part of that is leaving behind "beliefs" that are inaccurate and destructive.
