Most important here is service interval... 6000km for most bikes and 10.000km for Tenere, does not really matter is it 50, 80 or 120bhp you do not need it for going around the world, but you need a tank range and low weight. All in one... XT660Z ;)

HI man, i think is impossible for every1 answer at your question; it is a really personal preference. I ALWAYS have a motorbike, summer and winter and always use it (also when come snow). But if i have to chose, only car or only motorbike, i take car first (specially if you have family or girlfriend...). Car=confort+possibility to carry peoples+carry items; it is more usefull. Motorbike=fast movement+freedom+fun but less usefull than a car. This is my think. Is not the same for everyone...
Mine will come next week, i tried both this one and the F800GS... I have chosen the Yamaha for the low mantenance, low cost, low consumption... The engime is pretty simple is possible do 80% of the maintenance your self. Tènèrè is a total bike for me. Onroad yeah have less 50 Hp but are enought for do everything. I just sold my TDM 900 and Tuono 1000. The naked one is total crazy, i don' t need 300 km/h motorcicle; a grave mobile... Ride close or far to home in relax and safe, this i need...
