The Nexus RX line of power supplies are currently available in wattages ranging from 530 to 1000. So you are bound to find a PSU to fit your power needs and budget. The 630W model performs really well, even with an HD 5870 Video Card installed. It also come with an ultra quiet 135mm fan, modular design and is efficient.

  • Rod, I know you like your rigs to be powerful and efficient but do you really need two power supplies in your test system ;-)

  • Since this is the Nexus RX-6300 630W Power Supply Video Review, the Nexus RX-6300 630W Power Supply was used ;) The Enermax Revolution85+ 1050W PSU is one I use in my rig: RodsRig com

  • At 3:05 Japanese capasitors? Where? Capasitors are manufactured by Taiwanese Teapo Electronic Corp.

  • HI 3dgameman. what in your opinion are the quietest products you've come across? I'm looking for suggestions for quiet case-fans, cpu-cooler and psu. This nexus one is a bit above my budget but my it's goign on my list. I turned the volume up high almost couldnt hear nothing

  • 5 fans =)) . For what? With that money you can buy a better gpu.

  • @ECXVegetto aight thx

  • @qwertygustaf no, a brand 500w power supply si enough

  • im goin with phenom 2 x4 955, hd4870, 5 fans, asus mobo ''Evo'' something.. 2 corsair 4gb ram, dvd drive.... do i need more than 650w :P?

  • do they still make not modular PSUs? (and who buys them) :P

  • Unless the powersupply is older than 3-4 years. 80+ certification is a relatively new thing, and older PSUs work just fine but usually aren't certified.
