@nachocamacho44 So that explains why they were calling Gazoo a God, and why they were sacrificing their wives, kids, and animals because some ancients did it back then to appease the Gods.

They were making reference to the History Channel Show "Ancient Aliens". They said that all the "Gods" and "Angels" ancient society talked about were really aliens visiting Earth, and that they didn't know how to express they were aliens because their words for things and the words in our times have different meanings, or didn't even exist back then.
