My mother used to sing this to my younger brother about 25 years ago. She is from Ireland and we are American. As we grew older we always thought that she made this tune up...and that she was lyrically challenged. Now that my younger brother is 26 years old we often joked about the "Where's Your Momma Gone" song because we thought it was so mean to sing to your newborn and child. But holey crap...we never thought it was REALLY A SONG!!!
