Jim Goodin is a Brooklyn based composer/musician/videographer (b. 1955) who works in largely improvisational music with a number of different instruments including banjo, oud, violin, fretless guitar and others.

Goodin's credits include DADGAD Encyclopedia and Master Anthology of Fingerstyle Guitar Solos, Vol. II published by Mel Bay Publications, Inc., and numerous solo and collaborative CD releases including the ImprovFriday Vol 2, Duopoly and works on Three Legs Duck.
