Nia, I've heard Roy perform this tune many times, but to date haven't heard any covers of any of his tunes. Wow. You have a *lovely* voice and you're great with the material. Are you a professional singer or just an amazing talented amateur?

Thanks so much, Anne! I do sing professionally, and though I'm mostly a folkie these days, I used to do a lot of musical theatre, so quite a bit of that has crept into my covers. :)
Lots of people have done terrific covers of Roy's songs...if you check out his Favorited videos, you can see a bunch of them. I'm particularly fond of Joan Manners' covers, myself, but there are a ton of great ones floating around.

Just wondering, whats the tuning on the instrument?

Simple--it's tuned "D-A-DD" (low, middle, two high strings tuned to the same note like mandolin strings). Basically, it's an open-fifth D chord, which means you can play just about anything on it and it sounds good. ;) Also, the frets are diatonic, so you don't get all the notes you'd get on a guitar...but you can play a melody very, very easily. Also, chords are very simple (yet there's lots of ways to play them).
It's one of the most fun and addictive instruments I've ever played.
