This video tutorial shows how to wire a thermistor using a voltage divider and then acquire the temperature data from it in LabVIEW 2009.

This video tutorial was made for ME4031 undergraduates at the University of Minnesota. This is a Mechanical Engineering basic measurements class.

  • The voltage divider that you are using will output a higher voltage at lower temperatures. With the Thermistor going to 5V and the resistor going to ground the higher voltage will output at high temperatures.
