  • at 4:35: why give up that perfect position on the outside? As far as I understand bong sao it is not something you do or roll into but something that is being triggered by the oppenent. And at this sequence i just don't undestand why you don't do the obvious thing and attack once your elbow guides the way ahead. Retreating and preparing a new attack is quite mistake to me.

  • @naf3ts yeah, i see what you're saying, and you are correct to just enter at that point, sometimes, i prefer to get "position" by following the inside triangle footwork in, and that's what i'm doing in this demo. in the next video we film, you'll see what i mean in more detail. good question!

  • @dlvt79 you are right, but don't forget what history has taught us, that knowledge in any form, especially the written form, is a powerful tool when applied into action. "understand it, practice it, realize it!" - Jin

  • This man has a very, very gay voice.

  • Thanks for the vid, very informational :)

  • @sifujosh the reason Jin does not explain the wu sau hand is simple, the video is on bong sau. I have been watching his videos for a about 7 months now and i believe there is no such thing as overthinking when training, in a match or street fight, yes. but when training i think that the more you dissect a subject the easier it is to apply, and Jin always says "practice as fast as you can maintain perfect form." No disrespect intended, just stating my opinion. Thank you

  • Hell yea

  • ok? ok? ok? ok? kk? k? ok? k? kk?

  • the elbow should ALWAYS be higher than the wrist on this technique. while I realize this is simply an instructional, demonstrating any technique improperly will get people hurt. One more reason never to train via website. Also the wu sao hand should come up simultaneously with the bong sao to prevent being hit, and to flow to the next move (lap sao etc.) And I've always wondered...why is nothing shown at speed with this guy? more doing less talking please...you can easily overthink this

  • Scientifically speaking, that is to say in a laboratory setting, humans react faster than they act. Not by much, but enough to make a difference.
