How reliable do you thin this bike is?
I´m looking for a 2002 model, it has now 8 years!! and I can buy something more recent, but I love how this bike looks, and is a bmw of course!
Should I get it?

Your wind screen doesn't appear to be stock. Can you tell me what brand it is? Also, What brand of rear luggage mounts are you using? I've always been a Scarver fan but haven't bought one yet. Going next week to look at a 2003. Do you have any advice for me?

You can find the windscreen in the Wunderlich catalogue. The rear luggage is Krauser.
It´s a great bike to start, very easy to handle and quite fast in mountain roads...
Look at the transmission belt, in the firts models it was not very well protected and it could be damaged by gravel or little stones (although it was never a big problem).

Yeah, I think so. BMW made very little changes in this bike, so it will look the same.
