This is an interview with author, Elijah Wald, that I found from NPR news. In it, he speaks about narcotraficante music. For more inforation, check out his book; "Narcocorrido: A Journey into the Music of Drugs, Guns, and Guerrillas."

I have just always been upset when people make fun of Mexican music, and they don't understand what some of it is.
