Dude have you ever put out an actual informative video instead of your scanner garbage and fake titles. I know the Blount County Sheriffs department appreciates all the garbage you throw out there. I for one appreciate and respect them and yes I actually ride up there a lot.

always ride thru the road completely and check it out before trying to drag knees..

Spotted an s2k at 1:26 :D

I agree with you but you should stay in your lane in ALL corners. If people go up there for the corners, then why cut them short?

"experienced rider's first time on the dragon". Im also going to assume it was his last time lol. They have a tree of shame, thats interesting. I definetly want to check this place out.

Best advice I read was to ride the Dragon at the speed limit once in each direction first, then see what fun could be had. Some of the corners are insane switchbacks, with dips and humps. I was in the area for 4 days, and there were police there every day.

@jamescgale No its not. It appears to be a VW GTi.

lift off understeer? applying trottle in a turn in a FWD car will make the car understeer more. Its called lift off OVERsteer.

That's a Porsche Cayenne

I can see now why targeted enforcement is being done on the Dragon.
I know the sprtbikes and some vehicles are a real hazzard with the way they drive on it.
As long as you use your common sense and obey the laws, we can all have a safe and enjoyable time on the dragon, but it's just a few morons who cause problems for everyone else.

there is not an average of 4 life flights a week on the dragon. that's a bogus statement
I'm beginning to understand EMTs and police being a little stressed out, having to listen to radio traffic and respond to bloody crashes all day long. Tough job, and expensive for the tourists.

This head-on crash is newsworthy. Most crashes aren't, due to quantity. Riders need to learn how to stay in their own lane, before riding the Dragon. Riders should not visit the Dragon until they can drag a knee or scrap floorboards in a parking lot at 10 mph. Fear of pain is a motivator. Perhaps this video/audio can educate riders to teach themselves how to survive, similar to the same post with your photo of crash damage on ETR Forum. I agree with you, STAY IN YOUR LANE in blind corners.

Since no video was shot of this crash, would you prefer a blank screen? The purpose is the scanner audio, which shows Calderwood airport on the Dragon is now closed to Lifestar, adding 30 minutes to rescue time. DON'T CRASH ON THE DRAGON, IT'S NOT SAFE! WEAR FULL BODY ARMOR! Riders should not visit the Dragon until they can drag a knee or scrap floorboards in a parking lot at 10 mph, which helps stay in your lane on the Dragon. Scanner audio also helps recruit and train emergency responders.
