Axelrod & Barnum deliver another Capitol studio concoction, this time attempting to legitimize a dance based on the ring stepping of Muhammad Ali. Not their best work, but still a fun, funky relic of a bygone era, complete with the de rigueur "live" go-go technique, and the inevitable chorus of "Sock It To Me". Released January '67, sandwiched between Verdelle Smith's "Carnaby's Gone Away" (#5817) and The Four Preps' "Love Of The Common People" (#5819).
