Tour buses are not required to have seat belts. http://www.safeharness.com It's not a matter of the passengers being not required to have their seat belts buckled. The seat belts are not on the bus seats. Passengers have no seat belts to put on. We have not been able to track down exactly why this situation exists, but there is little doubt that this alarming lack of regulation will change. Even before that happens, the SafeHarness system is ready to start filling the desperate need for seat belts in tour buses that exists right now.
