This is part 1 of episode 2 of the Woodworkers Resource Video Podcast where we take a tour of my shop. In part 1 we look at lumber storage, the miter saw station, how to cut multiple boards to the same length, and a quick overview of how the jointer, table saw, and thickness planer are used in stock preparation. We also look at several ideas for improvements to the shop and how each will make their way into future podcasts.

  • Cool shop.

  • Thanks for the compliment. As with everybodies shop, there's lots that I'd like to do differently or make improvements on, but I'm thankful for what I have. I appreciate you watching the video!

  • I touched one. LOL

  • hi nice shop mate but on the chop saw square one end off with the timber to the right of the saw then slide it through under the saw to the length stops then cut, no need to flip the boards end for end, if you have to cut 24 no @ 24 in think of the time this will save you, hope this helps
