@pwnageownage100 Its impossible, at least not to kill Gannon - but I did it without a sword and it was HARD. perfect placement of bombs galore

u should get the master swird then go grab the woodsword then go own gannon with a wooden sword

@greytale that's exactly what happens. It just shows you picking up the wooden sword, but you keep the white one.

@hjgardner79 There is no Master Sword in the original LoZ. It's called the Magic Sword.

I can get to Ganon with the wooden sword and no rings... but I cant beat him. He takes off half your life when he hits you at this point and its hard to get enough hits to then use the silver arrow.

Yep, and I was able to pull it off on the Game Cube version that has Zelda 1 and 2 on it.
Basically, you do what I did here, but instead of getting the white sword, you proceed to level 3 and beat it. Then, you go through level 4 and get the bomb upgrade, and then head to level 6. THIS IS HARD. You have to beat all the wizzrobes using only bombs, and the room below the one with the hydra in it you bomb the right wall and walk through. Then, get the magic wand and you're set til Ganon!
