@theimpossiblers True, there are some other cases where composers, such as John Williams, Danny Elfman, and Alan Silvestri have that same sort of problem. Sometimes their scores sound a bit too bombastic for the wrong occasions.

Michael Giacchino is a good composer, but to be honest, his songs can exaggerate scenes to the point where one thinks "This isn't exciting at all."
