It took me several hours to make it bubble.
First time doing this.
Enjoy my tank & the music ^^

The ingredients I used are shown in the movie.
As for the hardware:
1.5L soda bottle
Air tube
Make hole on the top with a screwdriver or a knife. (just be careful)
I'm going to get a checkvalve this week.

That's why my bottle stays higher than the tank.

For the beginners, u should first let it work in a bottle/glass/bowl with water for several hours just to make sure everything works.

If there are any questions please ask them BELOW! ^^

  • how in the world did you get your tank get so clear?

  • @Theodosia2839 It was just a new setup (couple weeks old I gues)

  • I think you need to diffuse the air my friend. If u want to create the reaction faster. First mis the sugar in warm water, then wait until the water become lukewarm (cooler) and use some of that water with sugar to mix the yeast.. after mixing the yeast then mix both mixes gently and you will see the raction in less than a hour.. and next day it'll be working better... u must use a diffuser, other wise u aren't injecting CO2. I hope it helps!!!

  • Thanks for the advise but some parts are wrong, most bubbles are a bit too big. But there are also 10% that are small so they dissolve in teh water.

That's why I put it under my filter. The filter dissolves the CO2 to smaller parts that gets me 30+% CO2 and for a 5gal it's more than enough ;)

But thanks for comment & advice, I'll get a diffuser later.
