Dude don't worry about what others say. Are you the thought police? Just say your peace and move on. Peace out

Also let me make it clear that Jesus plainly states that you can't just say you're a Christian and that's all it takes. you can't just talk the talk, you must walk the walk and live it in your life. He says that all trees that don't bring forth good fruit will be cast out and thrown into the fire. Even though salvation is a gift, by way of God's grace through faith, we still must live the teachings of peace, joy and love so no you can't just be "some religious nut" as you so lovingly put it.

Yeah, you have to live by THEIR rules. Fuck that, god didn't give us free will to follow some strangers rules that he proclaims is god's rules.

Who is THEY? I only live by Christ's rules. His rules are "bless those that curse you", "love your enemies", "esteem others higher than yourself", "love God with all your heart", "love your neighbor as you love yourself". Is there anything wrong with any of these "rules"? I think not. And by the way, regardless of whether one belives in Jesus or not, if we all just lived by these "rules" the world would be a MUCH better place. There is no way you can argue with that. Peace.

Who is they? Anybody whoever wrote a religion and called it God's religion and rules. Isn't one of the rules in Christianity that nobody can speak to god? Your mentallity of (if we all just lived by these "rules" the world would be a MUCH better place" proves my point that religion DIVIDES us. Muslims,Jews,Christians, etc all have the same mind set. They think that THEIR way of life is better and that everyone should follow it, thus causing war and conflict. Drop religon and we'll eliminate alot

Actually that doesnt prove your point at all. I said that if we all lived by such teachings as "love your neighbor" and "esteem others higher than yourself" the world would be a better place. I'm not talking about religion at all. I'm not a religious person at all. I actually rarely go to church. However, I know where I come from and where I am going. And loving your neighbor or giving to those who ask of you doesnt divide us. If we all practiced these acts, we'd have a lot more peace.

Rather than use the phrase "Jesus", I think it would be more accurate to use the words "sky pixie"
Also I think you should point out that he was a bit of a git. He had all this power, to make the sick well, and to feed the poor, but just chose to concentrate on the people he happened to meet, which is a sort of lesson:
Do the minimal possible with your life, and God will look after you.
It also states in the bible that Jesus was gay, and surrounded himself with men so he was never short of cock.

So wtf. I can be a religious nut and believe in Chrisitianity and ignore all others faith and get into "heaven" but if I do 100s of good deeds I don't? That sounds fucked up if you ask me. Religion seperates people.

you are saved by grace not your own deeds. If you can be saved by your own deeds then you are your own god. Where does one draw the line on who does good and who doesn't? If I kill someone but say for the next 30 years help old ladies cross the street, am I worthy of Heaven or not? We are ALL sinners and cannot save ourselves. If that is your plan, I wish you the best of luck but just remember that you have sinned and still need to repent.
