What happened to this woman is like something out of a horror film. It might have been expected in Nazi Germany or in some police state but never ever in Britain in our "wonderful" NHS. There must be many others in a similar position. It makes me fearful for all of us as ME or something similar can strike any of us at any time. While this is happening we cannot call ourselves a civilised nation.

What happened to Sophia an so many other ME/CFS-Sufferers by the psychiatric Lobby is a crime against humanity. Treatment and diagnosis of ME/CFS needs unfortunately not only to change in the UK but around Europe and the world. Keep on fighting! Thanks so much for posting that

Sophia was a vibrant, intelligent, beautiful person. That much is clear. What the Health-care system in the UK did amounts to murder. Rest in Peace Sophia. Our prayers are with you and your family.
