The actual first pro wrestling video game show I did on pro wrestling video games, this video gives a run down on why pro wrestling video games arent treated with equal development as other games.

This show is actually a re-posting,originally featured on Nsomnia Radio Online. This video was orignally uploaded during last spring/summer of 2008I will be doing another show on pro wrestling video games, addressing the current state and value of their presence, and how they reflect the pro wrestling industry.Be sure to enjoy, rate and subscribe to the show.

  • I find it funny how most of my friends say "Oh SvR08 is great you are stupid" I have massive control problems with that game, not to mention the stupid ass glitches and the elitists who exploit every glitch in the game for the sole purpose of being cheap. THQ should take a few steps back, Take SYM/HCTP's engine, work it to have graphics that have a stylish next gen feel, add some more matches and options here and there, and it'd be perfect, THQ needs to pull their head out of their asses.

  • is 0:35 a real game

  • just got my power move off ebay in the mail TODAY

  • @BUBBAxSPARXXZ real game, fake cover

  • even though wrestling games are some of the top selling games each year i think within the gaming industry and the public in general wrestling fans are seen as dumb or uneducated and wrestling as some farce or like a non event or a genre thats beneith them to promote a wrestling game as a powerhouse 5 star title like CODMW or MGS or GOW or a serious sports game like Madden.

  • Legends of Wrestling 2 for Gamecube is the best wrestling game I've pretty much ever played. Had everyone! Hogan, Andre, Funk, Bam Bam, Hacksaw, Piper, DiBiase, Heenan, Lawler, LOD, Rock n Roll Express, Koko B Ware, Iron Sheik, etc. AWESOME game and still holds up to this day imo. The career mode is SICK, and the tag team, battle royal, cage, and ladder matches are cool.

  • There is one game in recent years that got the Five Star treatment:

Fire Pro Wrestling Returns for the PS2.

  • have you ever played one of adam rylands game?

  • I own Svr 2009 and the new TNA impact game and just by comparison there is a very small move set.Ynoticed the moves became progresivley more and more repetive. I wish TNA keeps trying to create great wrestling games, they difenetly are able to create a great show through the tv now just a great show through the controller.

  • If the AKI engine was still used and Syn Sophia (formerly AKI) is still with THQ in the mid 2000s, they should have developed WWF WrestleMania X8, WrestleMania XIX, Day Reckoning and Day of Reckoning 2 on the GameCube.

  • so there were like 2 Tna Games with the same names wtf i have the recent tna game ya know with the suicide storyline so there was another one with the same name thats just like naming wwe smackdown vs raw 2010 wwe here comes the pain umm there was already a game with the same exact name its confusing
