The Quark AA² was tested at 1277 hours, or just over 53 days. So, just about two months. :)

  • @jollyranchhand 4Sevens took a little time to respond to my switch problems, first suggesting some quick fixes, then a few days after I responded that those didn't work and that it appeared to be a problem with the switch itself, they send my a new tactical tail cap free of charge. Problem resolved! Although they were a little sluggish in responding, they got me the new tail cap within a few days time. I'm a happy camper again! Will keep this updated as time goes by, I use my AA2 on a daily.

  • I agree, I got the 4Sevens AA2 for the primary reason of cheap and easy to find batteries for it. Great light output, even on the highest settings the batteries last well, and of course are much cheaper to replace being AA's. My only issue is the switch, its not toggling on/off each time as it should. And, I can't seem to get 4Sevens to respond by email, so customer service is a bit questionable for me at this point. Just something to consider. But a great light for the money.

    Speaking of hositlity...

  • @superifico

ive had both an H30 and a H50 fail, i waited a few years for them to hopefully get their quality control in order, and a few months ago i ordered a H31, so far its holding up well.

I have owned HDS, Surefire, and Mcgizmo lights and while they are very good quality and my HDS clicky is absolutely bombproof, the 4Sevens Preon Revo is what i carry every day. Every quark light ive owned has performed flawlessly, and if i were to have a problem im sure they would handle it no problem.

  • @StriderMcG

Your hostility makes it clear that you are not a rational person. I doubt you've ever even touched a zebralight, let alone owned two.

I own dozens of different flashlights. The 4sevens lights are basically DealExtreme hardware quality, plus some cheezy branding and aggressive marketing to fool suckers into thinking they are better. But they aren't.

Warranty? Hahahaha. You ~might~ get a used replacement light after waiting a few months, and complaining publicly on forums.

    47 sux.

I have several lights that i use for anything from taking out the trash to caving that I paid well over $200, but for the best bang for buck 4sevens can not be beat. they have the best electronics, emitters, top notch build quality, and a great warranty.

If you honestly think that zebralights are the best designed and highest quality lights made, you are a fucking retard, ive had two fail from extremely light use, and then no warranty support.

  • @hollowpoint45acp No need to get your panties is a wad. Douchbag

  • @4sevens I stand corrected your flashlights rule!!!!

  • I admit, I'm one of the suckers who bought multiple 4sevens flashlights over the last few years.

They kinda sorta work OK (with regular maintenance), but they are radically overpriced compared to other lights that come from these Chinese factories.

iTP lights are a much better deal. And if you want the absolute best design & quality, Zebralight is the way to go.

Forget about 4sevens, they are mostly a marketing sham.
