A good friend has loaned me his minimoog for a while, I want to make the most of it:) This is one of my favourite TD tracks. Think I found the sweet spot on the moog although the tune/tracking is a little off. I re-created the pads/chords using the juno 6. Took me a day to get those to sound close to the original. Thanks for watching!

  • WOW!!!.... this is wonderful.... fascinating to see it done!!! It's no wonder so many people love this early gear!!!

    Best wishes from Australia!!!

  • @rosslavel many thanks:) the warmth of older gear is such a joy:)

  • This sound is so wide and warm! its a souls opener and you play it passionately!

  • @Scorefusion Thankyou:) I miss the m/moog, a beast of a synth to get used to, but once you find sweet spots, there is no other sound quite like it

  • Love the Mini sound . Real nice work there :)

Can you tell me the patch settings for the mini sound? Would love to try and get that myself

  • @analogig there is a sweetspot when osc 1 and 2 are in perfect sync.when both are set to sawtooth. Adjust osc 2 frequency ever so slightly until you hear a nice flange type effect. Use osc 3 for vibrato effect, then its just easy filtering adjustment, very basic stuff but a really rich and "moving" sound:)
