While I was fishing today, I threw in a few loose maggots and the Roach and Rudd were taking them, I suddenly saw a big Perch move in and the small fish scattered, | saw him again a couple of times, he was obviously hunting.
I hooked a small gudgeon..as I was bringing it in, the Perch saw it and chased it, I left the gudgeon in the water and the perch took it...I struck and hooked the Perch, after a good scrap I landed it, it weighed just over 4lb, a friend took 2 pics sending one to A/Times

m8 you could of caught atleast 2 in thye space of the vid here if you move your bb shot away from your hook abit more beacause perch are tackle shy and are curious about anything near there food thats why they approched your bait very very slowly

They are small where I live, and they nibble, nibble. CHOMP! also where i live. Never a bite unless he tastes it first... lol
