Sigh... Silent Hill 5 wasn't bad... however the franchise really NEEDS to be in the hands of the Japanese. Just play the prison part in Silent Hill 2 alone, in the dark and you'll see what I mean.

If he did have something to do with the overall idea of the game, then I think he should stick to making the music, not building the game. No offense to him.

I have soo much respect for Akira Yamoaka. Its been over tens years since he started in Silent Hill. Its understandable why he's leaving. I'll be following his Next move, and will buy the next thing he does. Its been great having him on Silent Hill, so many memories.

"Unused SH:O trailer"? The clips from SH:O are from the official trailer. For the rest, Akira's music can be used on all instalments as he is the only factor in the franchise that can ensure the original SH feeling. But he is very tired of the franchise after ten years and is looking forward to the new Konami IP.

They need to get the entire Team Silent together and make another Silent Hill title. Hell even if they no longer have the franchise, I'd get whatever new horror game they make. They were the best...

The "remake" (Shattered memories) of the first Silent Hill (1999) for Wii, PSP and PS2 this fall will be made by Climax in UK. Team Silent is - unfortunately - no more.
But Akira is currently busy with a new thrilling project. So keep your eyes peeled!
