Can´t deny that I really, really, really envy your practising place, seem to be very nice place to do what you love, no matter what it is that you love ;)
Awesome, I'll have to try it. I know when I go hit the dance floor now I can't help but dance like I had poi, which leads to some strange looking dancing, but it's become so ingrained. You're heading to Costa Rica? Man, if I had've known that I probably would've gone myself. Oh well, at the end of this year I'll have heaps of money, so maybe I'll come to America. And you've posted non-simulated vids, what about your promotional video?
Dan got a bunch of video clips from my LA workshops... We are busy getting ready to fly down to play with Nick in Costa Rica, but I might edit something together... wow that might be the 1st non-simulated vid I post!
Learning from the body 1st has been what my workshops start with! I go through half of my workshop just with footwork, timing/direction modes, and the transition points for turning with it.
Hanging out with Yuta at and after Fire Drums is what inspired me to seriously consider teaching this, and it has been working great!
Wow, this is really different. I must say, I've never seen anything like this with poi. I really like it! Addressing just the body, rather than the body in relation to the poi. Can we see more of this sort of thing Yuta? I really like this.
