Alcohol in moderation is fine and has proven health benefits for the hart, it's the abuse of alcohol that is wrong and dangerous.

Sorry but this video is largely bullshit. Very moderate consumption of alcohol actually helps with reducing the risk of heart disease. Red wine especially is healthy for you in moderate consumption. Trying to justify the outlawing of something based on your superstitious religion is bullshit. Islam, like any other religion, is a lineage of myths that people are culturally brainwashed into believing in. I for one love whisky, and no moon God blood prophet is going to stop me.

Perhaps a tutorial on SOUND EDITING could solve this volume spike problem? I can't even watch this! Too bad, because it sounds really interesting...

Ironically the oldest evidence of the mass use of alcohol for recreational purposes is in those countries which strictly forbid it's consumption these days. Drinking alcohol is much older than Judaism, Christianity and Islam. I'm not looking for a religious argument or health argument, just saying what's true.

Who was the speaker?
it worked in medina because people thought that there was a guy in the sky who was going to burn them forever and ever in hell if they drank. nothing noble about, just plain old fear of stories.

yea but by then you will have wasted your life living under the 1400 year old opinions of a guy who, like many others, realized that the best way to spread and put his views into reality was to make people around him believe that there was a supernatural being that you couldn't see and who as it happened only he could talk to that wanted the same thing. good way to control people who would then indoctrinate their kids in the same thing and bring his "perfect" world into fruition.
