@AJV2688 They used to offer that on the DVDs they released back in early 2000s, one side was their mst3k commentary, other side was the original movie unaltered.
So are these shows actually being shown somewhere, or are they only being bootlegged on YouTube? I love MST3K, wish they would get over their differences and get back together.
It isn't being bootlegged. Shout Factory (the youtube account that uploaded this) has released all of the Film Crew episodes on DVD. Neither Film Crew nor MST3K will make new episodes ever again.
Mike has a website called Rifftrax which does the same thing though. But to get around copyright laws they don't provide the video. You pay like a dollar for an audio track full of riffing and rent the movie that they are riffing and sync them up. The other MST3K sometimes appear on the tracks.
Joel has his own riffing project as well, google for "Cinematic Titanic" - it's cheesy old movies riffed and released to DVD. He's joined by Pearl, Frank and Trace too.
The cool thing about how Mike's Rifftrax works is that you get riffs for some brand new stinkers like "Transformers 2" or the Star Wars Prequels. :)
Indeed, and through RiffTrax the spirit of MST3k lives on to this day. ^^ I'll admit I miss the old host segments and the characters, but honestly the work Mike, Kevin and Bill do now is just as awesome and hilarious as it's always been. =3

And to be honest, I'd rather have Rifftrax AND Cinematic Titanic AND all the classic MST episodes than just more of the same, wouldn't you...?
