I've lived in 5 countries and about 15 states, and I've never seen more arrogant, aggressive or self-serving cops than on Long Island. The NY City cops can be jack-booted thugs when they choose, but that seems to be a requirement for Long Island cops. They don't generate trust, respect or cooperation. That some would abuse women within the service should surprise no one. Since our community has to pay the salaries and the fine, our community should have some say in the leadership.
