  • @mtaygoldin you must be joking... Andy Timmons is a true master of tone and guitar!

  • This guy is soooo overrated.

  • @sr1129 Yes, it isn't low end heavy, but it wasn't designed as such. The extra low midrange can be achieved with a bigger cab, ideally a 4X12, and having the output knob cranked...

  • @KHGuitarFreak1988 Idk maybe its just me, I was between an orange thunder 30 and a stilletto and even with the oversized cab (they were combos) the orange had much better low end and midrange than the stilletto. The OD was much warmer. This could be due to the fact that it was a combo, a head with a ported thd cab lets say could sound dope. But I havent had the chance to do that yet.

  • @sr1129 You clearly missed the point. Only reason he went the Tube Driver is because the tone is bigger that way. I wouldn't call the OD on the Stletto brittle and cold...

  • @2lazy2smack Electric gypsy

  • whats the name of the song at the beginning?

    Think its great though!

  • @yjmsrv straight up, the stillettos sound like junk. Good clean channel but the OD is brittle and cold. Thats y andy runs the tube driver thru the front and uses it as a clean platform. The lonestar however is a diff story, wonderful amp

  • It says sting instead of string.

  • @TravuhsWree Yeah this is back when he was playing through his Laney's. I think it's pretty poor tone too, compared to the lush beautiful sound he's getting out of his Lone Star and Stilletto Boogies. His tone now i second to no one. Funny too how the tone can make that much difference on the same song with the same notes. Still sounds like AT, but not as beautiful!
