A Personal Look at the Importance of Idaho's Medicaid System of Home and Community Support Services.

Produced by Joshua R. Malan and the Consortium for Idahoans with Disabilities.

The Consortium for Idahoans with Disabilities, or CID, is a coalition of Idaho agencies and organizations concerned with issues affecting people with disabilities. Our coalition has produced this short video to demonstrate the importance of Idaho's system of home and community support services funded by Medicaid.

These services are provided to people who live in their own homes or live with their families. The services have many different names, but they all serve the same purpose; to make it possible for people with disabilities to live independently or with their families in their own communities. These services keep thousands of Idahoans with disabilities safe, healthy and as independent as possible in every region of the state.

But this system is at risk.
